Girls weekend getaway (never long enough)

So last weekend I had the opportunity to go with my sisters and their Bunco friends up to a cabin in Park City! Needless to say I am so glad they did I am so glad I went. We first went and ate at this place in Park City on Main St. called Ciseros. Great food but too expensive and the service was horrible. We were there for three hours and that wasn't even with a wait. We never got our drinks until forever and our waiter acted annoyed if we asked for refills. Finally after a while I got up and found were they were filling the bottles for the water and just did it myself for our table. It was ridiculous. We weren't going to leave much of a tip if one at all but to our surprise out crappy waiter added the gratuity to our bill. Seriously....what a jerk. That didn't get us down though or ruin our night at all, just gave us something to laugh about even more.

My beautiful sisters and me

The whole group of girls

We got up to the cabin and that is where the fun began. We messed and joked around, just having fun and being silly. We laughed alot and ate a ton of junk food andI drank so much PEPSI Max. Talked and a little dirty talk was involved as well. Hey what else do a bunch of moms out a night over by themselves to do. I felt like I was in Highschool again, especially since we were up until 4:30 or so when we finally all settled down with the one man that was allowed to be up there with us.......Edward! I could just watch Twilight over and over again but we didn't even make it into half of the movie before we were all out.

Not my best side

Ummm not sure about this one.....Cute James very cute!

Meg laughing until I think she peed herself lol

Kyz and I doing what we do best....being silly!

The next morning we woke up at 8:30 to make a divine breakfast. We had pancakes, eggs, bacon, orange and cinnamon rolls, and fresh fruit!

All the gang during breakfast

After breakfast we cleaned up and headed out to the outlets for some shopping!

Kylie, Meg and I after our damage was done. On our way home :(
It was such a fun much needed weekend. Thanks again girls for inviting me and Stacy for letting us stay at your cabin. Hopefully you will let me come to the next one.

"It's my party and I'll cry if I want to"

So I wasn't the most excited about my birthday coming this year. I know I am dumb but seriously I was having a hard time with the fact that I was turning 26. I know I know it's not that old but for me I was dreading it. Imagine how I will be with 30! It really was a great birthday. It was on Sunday July 12th so we kicked it off a little early. I went on Friday night to see Transformers with my girlfriends Cammi and Audrey since I really wanted to see it and my husband had already gone without me! Thanks girls for going to see a total action packed guy film with me. On Saturday my mom and I went and got pedicures and then went shopping. (thanks mom) I wanted a new bed set this year since I can always get clothes. We found a really cute one at Kohls, it was just what I was looking for. I will take a picture of it later to show ya. Later that night Devin took me up to Sundance for dinner (it has kind of been tradition, we have gone every year for my Bday since we have been married) we went with our good friends Matt and Veeann. Devin gave me money to go shopping, a shirt and a gift certificate to go get a massage, what a great husband! After dinner my in laws came up and met us at the movies and we went and saw "The proposal" best movie I have seen all year.....loved it loved it loved it!! We laughed so hard tell we cried, great movie! Thanks to my cousin Megan for watching Gracie for us so I could go with my hubby and enjoy myself, I really appreciated it.

Here we are eating out delicious meal, I love their food!

On Sunday we of course went to church. Thanks everyone for the Happy birthday wishes, the sweet cards, gifts, and goodies. It made for it to be not such a "bad Sunday birthday". We went over to dinner at my moms, she made my favorites; crock pot chicken and fish. We had a whole smorgashborg of food.

All of the chicas with our little bro.

Opening my presents:

Summer Luau

So if you ever want to go to a good party it is for sure one that my sister Jamie and/or her sister in law Meg throw. They had a Luau in their backyards a couple weeks ago!
There was alot of good food and fun!

4th of July

For the 4th of July this year we went down to Gunnison, not only for the fourth but for a family reunion. We headed down on the third to get things started. We went to the family farm for food games and fun. We ate while the kids played in the water.

Easton and his cousin Tate playing on the blow up slide

Our little family hanging out at the farm in the shade.....it was hot!

Now small towns know how to do festivities! The 4th of July is always fun and a big deal down in Gunnison but especially this year. Gunnison was celebrating it's 150 years......wahoo! Anyway that night they had a big dinner and auction. Then they had some motocross bikers come and after that a concert with the Osmonds' (not Donnie and Marie unfortunatley but there older brother who I have never heard of but was pretty good) and then a big fire work show, almost as cool as the stadium of fire!

Easton and Gracie waiting for all the fun to begin

The bikers jumping over a big dirt hill....it was pretty crazy!

After the concert, Easton and I watching the firework show

So the next day, on the 4th they do a flag ceremony in the morning along with breakfast and a parade of course! I told you small towns know how to paartay! Then after the parade a carnival at the park along with lunch.

Easton and his cousins Tate and Kyler going for a train ride

East and I in the train

Since Gracie is at that busy stage in life, she wouldn't stop for one second for me to get a picture of her in her cute 4th of July outfit. So sorry this is what you get!

Later that night we went over to my sister Jamie's for a barbecue with the fam and fireworks. After that we played volleyball until midnight. It was a great fourth!
